Trying to make some sence out of a poppyfield in strong winds isn't easy. Cranking up the iso or going for a large aperture isn't an option for the landscape photographer. So working with the wind instead of against it is the key. It's by no means a 'compromise' though. Rural Groningen is at it's best at the moment. Made with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8 L II, f11, 1/4 sec., 17mm, Lee ND0.9 Hard grade, tripod and remote. 10 new images are added to the image library. |
Als je het onderwerp van je foto extra wilt benadrukken door een mooie wazige achtergrond, gebruik dan je telelens. Lenzen met een brandpunstafstand vanaf 300 mm lenen zich daar prima voor. In combinatie met een maximaal diafragma levert dat mooie resultaten op.Dat komt simpelweg doordat lenzen met een kleinere brandpunstafstand(met uitzondering van makrolenzen) een grotere scherpte diepte hebben. Hierdoor leg je ook bij een maximaal diafragma toch veel 'ongewilde' details vast in je achtergrond. Voor het fotograferen van bloemen gebruikt Bas het liefst zijn 300mm f4 L IS lens in combinatie met een maximaal diafragma van f4.
